Child Care Discounts

Travelers has negotiated a child care discount at certain national child care centers. If you obtain child care through one of these centers, you may be eligible to receive this discount. As with other benefits provided to you by the company, you are encouraged to make decisions concerning child care that are appropriate for you and your family. By offering these discounts, the company is not recommending or endorsing these child care arrangements over any others that you may be considering. The company has not conducted on-site reviews or interviewed or otherwise investigated these child care providers or managers of any of these centers.

Note: Employees are urged to verify eligibility at a specific child care center prior to enrollment as certain restrictions may apply.
The company has been able to negotiate a discount at the national child care centers reflected in the following table:

Celebree Learning Centers

Ten percent discount off tuition for each child enrolled, ages two and up. The discount is available only upon request and once you have provided proof of employment to the center. The discount becomes effective at the start of the following week. For a limited time, the application fee (valued at $75) will be waived.

CHILDTIME & Tutor Time Learning Centers

10 percent discount on toddler, preschool and before and after school care. Cannot be combined with any other discounts.

| College Nannies & Tutors

Discount applies to the following types of nanny care:
- Nanny placement - part-time: For after-school, vacation or summer child care. $100 off the initial $550 enlistment charge to Travelers families.
- Nanny placement - full-time: For parents of infants or toddlers who want in-home care 30 or more hours a week. $300 off the initial $1,450 enlistment charge to Travelers families.
- Nanny placement - live-in: For parents who want care and in-home help. $300 off the initial enlistment charge to Travelers families.
- Professional babysitting - on-call: For school closings, sick days or evenings when parents are away. $100 off the initial $350 enlistment charge to Travelers families.
Restrictions may apply. The discount is available only to children in your family who meet the Company's definition of a dependent. Refer to the Benefit Plan Summaries to confirm your dependent's eligibility. College Nannies may extend discounts to extended family members.

KinderCare Learning Centers

Ten percent discount off standard, weekly child care tuition rates for full-time and part-time care at all KinderCare centers. The discount is available in the preschool through school age classrooms and does not apply toward infant and toddler rooms, cannot be combined with any other discounts, and is only available upon request and once you’ve provided proof of employment to the center director. The discount only applies toward tuition and not registration fees. Contact the center directly to confirm your child's classroom is eligible under the program. Other restrictions may apply.

New Horizon
- All Twin Cities locations

10 percent discount available to all age groups. Cannot be combined with any other discounts.
Emergency back-up care to those Travelers employees in the Twin Cities area who are not regularly using New Horizon as their child care provider. Employees will be charged a special term single day rate available only to emergency back-up care participants and the registration fee will be waived. Employees can utilize the special term single day rate for up to 10 consecutive days when their regular child care provider is not available. The special term single day rate will be the weekly discounted rate divided by five.
