Employee Stock Investment Plan

Overview

The Employee Stock Investment Plan (ESIP) enables you to invest in Travelers common stock through payroll deductions and optional cash contributions. ESIP offers:

  • Convenience – Your contributions to ESIP are deducted from your paycheck. Your funds, including dividends and optional cash contributions are invested automatically. Wells Fargo Bank, the plan administrator, purchases and holds the shares for you.
  • Flexibility – You can add to your investment by making optional cash contributions to the plan of up to $1,000 per month.
  • Full investment of funds – Your funds are invested in full and fractional shares. Dividends on those shares are fully invested for you.
  • No purchase costs – There are no deductions for service charges of brokerage fees for purchasing shares. Travelers pays these charges for you.
