Business Travel Accident Insurance
Overview
Travelers Business Travel Accident Insurance Plan provides you with 24-hour coverage while traveling on business away from the premises of Travelers. The plan will pay benefits if you die or are injured as the result of an accident which occurs while traveling on company-approved business. If your spouse or domestic partner or your children die or are injured as a result of an accident while traveling with you on company-approved business, the plan will also pay benefits.
The Life Insurance Company of North America is the insurance carrier for this plan.

Employee Coverage
Employees who are scheduled to work at least 20 hours a week have coverage equal to three times annual base salary up to a maximum of $2,000,000. Annual salary does not included overtime, bonuses, commissions or other extra pay. Part-time employees who are scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week receive a flat benefit amount of $25,000.
Dependent Coverage
Employees who are scheduled to work at least 20 hours a week have spouse or domestic partner coverage of $150,000 and child coverage of $50,000 per child. Part-time employees, who are scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week, have spouse or domestic partner coverage of $25,000 and child coverage of $25,000 per child.
Beneficiary
The beneficiary for your Business Travel Accident benefit is the same beneficiary you name under the Life/AD&D plan. You are the beneficiary for your dependent's Business Travel Accident coverage.
